Internships at Reverse Logistics Association are designed to offer students both practical and working experience in a highly competitive industry. Internships may be in such areas as research, engineering, sales/marketing, accounting/finance, hospitality, photography, journalism and customer service.
We place an emphasis on matching students to internships that promote RLA's mission to educate and inform Reverse Logistics professionals around the world. RLA Interns will have direct exposure to hundreds of future employers. RLA Conference and Expo attendees include executives from High Tech, Automotive, Medical/Pharmaceutical, Publishing, Apparel, and Consumer industries. Companies such as Black & Decker, DHL, Foxconn, Sony, Jabil, Microsoft, HP, Palm, Wal-Mart Canadian Tire, Tesco and Best Buy, all participate at our events.
The RLA internship program operates year-round and includes specific five-day internships on location at our Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Singapore, Boston, and Brazil conferences. These internships introduce students to executives in personal and professional settings. Responsibilities include: sales, speaker management, room management, food and catering management, customer service, accounting, photography, and article development for RLA publications.
Benefits include membership to RLA, intern business cards to give to attendees and exhibitors and one-on-one interaction with future employers. All interns must be professional and self-motivated. Full-time or part-time student applicants accepted. All interns must be either senior undergraduate or graduate students.
Students interested in internship opportunities can register for the RLA Events that fit their schedules. Faculty members seeking to place students at Reverse Logistics Association are encouraged to contact David Meldrum-Taylor (Director of Research) to set up an ongoing partnership for student placement.
