Hyper Microsystems Inc is seeking a dynamic established inside salesperson with at least 3 years of experience in computer hardware sales to join our team We sell computer hardware, consumer electronics as well as value added systems to both B2C and B2B customers. You will be responsible for both bringing sales from your customer base, contacting new and existing customers, AND responding to the hundreds of requests we get through our websites every single day! If you are more than just an order taker, this may be the career for you.
In conjunction with the outside sales representative, the ideal candidate will serve as the primary sales contact to customers on behalf of the company. Other responsibilities may include:
• Receive & process inquiries, quotes & orders: receive and process requests directly from customers (via telephone, fax and mail) for price quotations, product availability, customer orders, material returns, billing corrections, product information, order changes, and cancellations
• Provide application assistance to customers : quickly and smoothly resolve customer complaints and problems; maintains strong relationships with customers during and after purchases to facilitate return business
• Plan prospecting objectives
• Generate price quotations in a timely manner
• Review all orders to forecast additional customer needs
• Sustain a working technical knowledge of all available Hyper Microsystems Inc. products
Skills:
• The candidate must be organized, self-motivated, analytical & detail-oriented and have working knowledge of Excel, Word and Windows.
• Driven towards aggressive goal attainment and passion to deliver results.
• Work effectively and productively as part of a team.
• Demonstrate good decision making skills, with an ability to manage time and priorities
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience working for a distributor or manufacturer of computer hardware
• A solid customer base
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as needed
• Basic PC skills – MS OFFICE (Word, Outlook, Etc…)
• Good foundation and knowledge about computer/server hardware components and the desire to take the knowledge to the next level
• Dependable
• Ability to SELL and CLOSE deals
